It woudln't let me choose 'TV and Movies' as the category... so... uh... Rent is a book/novel in the sense that it is a written... uh... libretto. Or something. Shut up.

Anyway, these aren't anything new... I made them last year. They're actually kind of dirty an disgusting now, and I've stepped in a decent amount of mud with them. So I tried to fix it up a bit in photoshop. Oh well, you get the idea.

Although I did have pictures from right after I'd just painted them... but it was only Roger and Mimi, and not the red on the rest of the shoe and all that. Oh well.

I wore these the last time I went to go see Rent, and as I was leaving, the Renthead line for the next show was starting, and this girl came up to me and stopped me, asking if she could take a picture of my shoes. : D She said "I thought MY Rent shoes were cool... I put lyrics all over them... but look at these!" and I was like "OH MY GOD! Another RENTshoe person!" And she asked me which actors I based them off of... and I told her Adam Pascal and Rosario Dawson (kinda)... and she was like "Yeah, that was my guess."
Anyway, it made me happy to meet another RENTshoe person. : D I'm not alone! I wish I coulda' seen hers though... she wasn't wearing them.

Anyway... yes. It's probably hard to tell, but she's reaching over onto his shoe holding an un-litten (shut up, it's a word) candle. He's got teh matchzor. : D
