Wehrenberg Theatres. The kind of job you love to hate, and hate to love. Where the popcorn is always fresh, though the kettle's always broken. Where you get unlimited refills----if you buy the hellaciously expensive "too much to eat in one sitting" sizes. Where you'll never be treated like an illegal immigrant---though you will be payed like one. Yes, indeed. To err, my friends, is human. To blame it on someone else shows management potential.
I had to revisit the whole "Wehrenforce" idea. I couldn't help it. There's so many possibilities!! Although I doubt anything will ever come of this idea, you may or may not see more of this kind of junk from me. I can't help it! XD
Anyway, I just wanted to draw something looking all epic-ish from a cool angle. I wasn't really concerned about coloring or detail. Mostly just angle and style and kinda-maybe lighting.
I think the picture is pretty self explainatory. However, if you can't figure it out from that, the giant yellow thing is a popcorn monster. And the orangish crap dripping from it is coconut oil (for cooking). And by "popper", the kid on the left means the popcorn kettle. We call it a popper. I mean, it makes enough sense... but I'm just pointing it out, because I don't know how many people out there would call it a popper. XD
Just an ordinary day at work...
And yes, our carpet actually does look something like that. I don't know who picked out the color schemes for these theatres, but they're hideously ingenious.
...XD Is it sad that when I first saw this I thought: This could be something like Captain Underpants! (?) XD. I mean, not like the idea, but like the thought of it being a funny book or something. Books that everyone could enjoy, though there's a lot of jokes that nobody got until they got older and re-read the series...Bah, I think silly.
Anyway, that is an awesome monster and exactly what human beings would think if a random popcorn monster just showed up. XD.

Wow that looks awesome, and again, Tiff and Milkey. Him being a techie, I could see him saying that, and Tiff too, being a techie too(Sweeping the stage was a pain in the ass, so I asked her to do it. xD)
At least your job is inspiring enough for you to make some awesome artwork about it^^ rarely do I find an inspirational moment at the pet store where I work--;
This is simply amazing! And hilarious^^ It's interesting how the features of everyday life are incorporated into art ideas.

Hahaha, no, that's not sad at all! XD That would be awesome, I think. While I didn't read a whole lot of the Captain Underpants book, it was still a great idea! The only problem that might come up if this were a book or whatever, is that I'd be worried some of the jokes would only be understood by theatre people. Hahahaa... but I'd try and make it enjoyable to anyone, I guess. And if I had to make a theatre joke, I'd just have to add little footnotes and things to explain it. XD
Hahaha, thanks.
XD Hahahahaa.... yeah, I thought I'd go ahead and try and make them look kinda like the two kids in my last Wehrenforce peice of crap. Hahah.
Oh, but speaking of Tiff and Meilke, she broke up with him. Maybe it's not my place to talk about it, but poor Meilke's pretty down over it. Though we invited him with some other Wehrenfolk to Steak n' Shake, and attempted to cheer him up a bit. Poor guy, though. He just got potentially fired too.
I say "potentially" because the manager that told him to turn in his uniform doesn't actually have the ability to fire people. He does, however, have the ability to keep them off the schedule.
And our head manager is on vacation right now. D:
But anyway, I hope he gets to come back... he was honestly like, one of the best concessionists we have!!
Awww, you work at a pet shop?? That must be pretty fun though, right? All the little animals...
But you probably have to clean up alot of crap, don't you?
Yes, it is great fun there, however stocking shelves can make it rather boring, and tending to cages can make it quite disgusting. In down time, I'm able to take out the display animals and let them run around after the shop is closed.
Even though it's mostly stocking shelves and cleaning cages(not to mention that many of the animals there have the worst attitudes,) I do really enjoy working there^^

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
