OMGTHREEDEVIATIONSINONENIGHT!!! I think this is some sort of record. Wait... crap. It's 1am. Damn. Okay, two deviations in one day. SCREW YOU, TIME.
And so on:
Ooookay. It's Roger and Mimi and OMIGOD I DREW A GIRL!! ^___^ srsly people, do I have ANY deviations that have GIRLS in them? I don't even know. I don't think I do. Except for maybe my IDs. Cause I FAIL at drawing normal-looking girls. I have to draw them with ridiculously defined hourglass figures or something to make it apparent that they're girls. I envy people who can draw normal, healthy-looking girls. But oh well, this is only a face, so you can't see how bad I suck.
Unless it's apparent in the face.
Anyway... *sighs and bows head* More RENT stuff. I DON'T KNOW. I just felt like Oekakiing something real quick... and I don't know. Roger. Stuff.
Plus I looked at this earlier oekaki I did of Malik's face and it made me a little sad. I wanted to do a decent oekaki without raping it to death with the "light" tool thing.
And I'm not going to lie, I did use it in this picture. But I tried to limit it. I'm serious, if you let me keep going with that thing, the canvas will be nothing but a big blob of white. 0_o
Anyway, it's Roger and Mimi and I'm not really sure what's going on in this picture. I started with Rog's face and I was like, "hmm. He needs some interaction!" and then Mimi happened. But I didn't know if it should be like a happy lovey thing... like the whole "I should tell you" schpeel, or if it should be all angsty and "Another Day"ish. So, I guess the latter is what happened, because... I dont' know. It just did. So yeah. But feel free to make of it what you will. ^_^
Eerrrrmmmmm... I don't think there's anything else. Oh well. If there is, I'll come back later. Right now I have to go to bed and turn off this damned infomercial for some 'greatest hits of the 70s' compilation CD... hosted by... I don't know, someone from the Brady Bunch.
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally cool with the 70's... but infomercials are one of the most distracting and repetitive things in the world. Despite how hillarious they are. XD
Seriously. GOODDD WHY DO I KNOW ALL THESE SONGS??
I was browsing through the new updates for tv/movies, and I saw this, immediately thinking "Oh. That looks like Roger and Mimi." Then I scrolled my mouse over the picture, saw the title, and realized I was right. ^.^ That pretty much never happens to me.
I actually like how you drew Mimi. I don't know which Mimi you were drawing inspiration from, but this looks very close to Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Heyyy, thank you so much! ^_^ I'm glad you recognized them!
You know, about Mimi... I'm not sure who was more inspirational on that. See, the first RENT anything I ever saw was the movie, so for awhile what I pictured as Mimi looked more like Rosario. But after becoming a little more familar with the OBC, I sometimes see her more like Daphne! So it's probably a mixture. I like them both.
Thank you so much!!

It looks like a really nice! I have problems drawing boys, so I'm just the opposite of you.
I was in a marching band contest this weekend, and one of the bands were doing songs from RENT! I 'sploded and went all "OMGBBQOIFAUWOELUR!! RENT!!" and thought of you. XDDDD
Pretty colors~! Maybe I should watch that movie sometime?

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
