www.indiegogo.com/projects/bir…Check it out!
(Post copied from my tumblr: )
Hey guys, not to shamelessly plug something, butttttttt…..
You should really check this project out.
Ann is pretty much the coolest gal in the world and wants to tell good stories with well-developed characters. Stephanie is an awesome and versatile artist who brings sensibility and talent to the table, and together they're making a really awesome film.
A story about two races whose world's are separated, but exist hanging upside-down in each other's respective skies, and the two characters who inadvertently change everything, Bird and Fish is both visually and conceptually stunning.
One of the neat things that resonates about Bird and Fish is its attempt to increase gay visibility in a way that presents actual characters rather than stereotypes, and places them in lead roles rather than relegating them to sassy sidekicks. TUMBLR, SOCIAL JUSTICE NEEDS YOU.
No seriously though, it's a great film so please check it out and consider donating to show your support! They're already pretty well into their production and final steps, they just need to pay some colorists to help them out!
Sound familiar? Hahaha… no seriously though, their film is such a good piece and if you've donated to mine (or had considered donating but missed the opportunity), please consider donating to Bird and Fish, it'd mean a lot to me and to a lot of others as well.
Thank you! : )
*Other fun facts: Ann Mendenhall is the voice of Sock in my film and is my thesis confidant and spirit guide. She puts up with so much shit from me it's unreal and WtH would not be what it is without her advice and support so there's that.
Neil Morrissey (the voice of Mephistopheles in my film) is also the voice of the boss character in Bird and Fish. He's also helped me out with the characterization in my own film, but he's good at being boss characters with slightly Jersey-esque accents so you should also support that.
